Republic Day Celebrations 2020

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at New Era Public School  Dwarka.  The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “India”.

The choir group presented patriotic songs including ‘Sare Jahan Se Achha Hindustan Humara’. The whole school joined the choir. It was followed by a beautiful folk dance from Punjab. The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding.

The Chairperson, Mrs Usha Chopra, wished everyone a Happy Republic Day and in her address highlighted the significance of the day, and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well now and inculcate good values in life, which will help them to be good citizens of the country.

She also felicitated the winners of the Annual Athletic Meet 2019, with medals and congratulated them for the unbeatable sporting spirit they possessed. She also spoke on the importance of physical exercises in one’s daily life.  The Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra, also wished everyone a Happy Republic Day and congratulated the young sport stars for the vibrant energy and sportsmanship they possess.

The programme ended with the rendition of the National Anthem.

    Farewell for Class XII 2019-20 batch

    “There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts”

    The school gave a warm farewell to the outgoing students of class XII, batch 2019, with a heavy heart on 23rd January, 2020. The Chairperson, Mrs Usha Chopra, gave her blessings, guiding the students to give their best in their forthcoming board examination. A Hawan ceremony was also organised to seek the blessings of the Almighty.

    Class XI organised a fun filled Farewell party for the graduating batch of Class XII.
    The cultural programme showcased the multiple talents of class XI students. A mesmerizing  medley  of songs exhibiting the eternal bond of friendship, not only charmed the audience but  aptly set the momentum for the other stage performances of the day.
    The incredible Retro, Bollywood dance performances were a treat to the eyes. The glimpse of the years spent by our Bonhomie Class XII in the school and their mischief made everyone nostalgic. The students and the staff alike applauded the efforts put in by the students of Class XI, which was well reflected in their performances. Many interesting and tricky games were played to pep up the environment.

    The Director, Mr Rohit Chopra, bestowed each student with a title, synonymous with the traits they possessed. He also wished them luck for all their future endeavours.

    Summing up, the day was great, filled with nostalgia and fun and excitement!




      Celebrating their wings of preparedness to take on their independent flight of life, the Honours Ceremony was organised at New Era Public School Dwarka, to bid adieu to the graduating batch of 2020.

      The ceremony was attended by the chairperson of the school, Mrs Usha Chopra, the Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra, the Principal, staff, students of Class XII and their parents. 

      The Chairperson and the Director bestowed their blessings upon the students, wishing them luck for their journey of life ahead. The year book 'Memoirs' carrying memories and best wishes penned by their mentors, was then released by the Chairperson. 

      The Principal read out the citations for each student, highlighting their qualities.

      The proficiency certificates in academic and co-curricular domains were awarded to the students.

      The ceremony concluded with a candle lighting ceremony, which symbolizes how each student would take forth the ethos and values of the school that shall guide him/her in every turn of his/her life.
