Ganesha , also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, and Pillaiyar, is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon. 
On the ocassion of Ganesh Chaturthi, students of class LKG & UKG created beautiful Ganesha masks, coloured the picture of Ganesha and danced on the song "Deva Shri Ganesha" with their dance teacher.

    "Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare,
    Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama,  Hare Hare" 
    Students of class LKG and UKG visited Iskcon Temple, Sector-13, Dwarka. They performed "Krishna Leela", dancing joyfully on their little toes and clapping with their little hands. The school corridors brightened up when they came back chanting "Hare Krishna" with their smiling faces.

      "Winners never quit and quitters never win, sports do not build character, they reveal it".
       New Era Public School Dwarka, celebrated The National Sports Day of India in tribute to the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. The students were told about the importance of ‘Sports’ and the relevance of National Sports Day.
      On this occasion, the students participated in a football match and also participated in various sports activities with great enthusiasm and zeal. The children learnt a lot about true sportsmanship and the value of playing games.
      An honoury ceremony was conducted at Vegas mall dwarka where students of New Era Public school were felicitated for their outstanding achievements in the field of sports.

        New Era Public School, Dwarka proudly  presents "Janmashtami Series" for all of you.

        Day 1
        Krishna Janmashtami, ''Occasion of the birth of Lord Krishna'', also known simply as Krishnashtami or Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.
        Students of class UKG decorated matkis with their little hands and recited Krishna Leela in their innocent accent.

        Day 2 
        Students of class LKG made beautiful head crowns in honour of Lord Krishna. They wore them proudly on their heads.

          New Era Public School, Dwarka proudly celebrated “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” as India completed 75 years of its independence. To celebrate this day, a special assembly was held in the school premises with the staff and students to mark this auspicious day.
          The programme started with flag hoisting???? by the Chairperson Ms. Usha Chopra and the Director Mr. Rohit Chopra.
          This was followed by a musical rendition by the school choir which sang a patriotic song that
          awakened everyone’s feelings towards the motherland. Primary children dressed up as some unsung heroes of our country such as Birsa Munda, Tulsi Gowda and Kanak Lata Barua and shared their autobiographies confidently. To add to the glory of the day, a special dance performance by the school dance team filled everybody with great energy and cheer.
          The Chairperson and the Director addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s  duty with responsibility. They also emphasized the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country

            New Era Public School, Dwarka gladly presents “Independence Day Series” to show the glimpses of celebration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” in the school premises.

            Day 1
            “Unity in diversity is India's strength. There is simplicity in every Indian. There is unity in every corner of India. This is our strength” , said the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi Ji.
            Students of class UKG celebrated Independence day in colourful attires of different states of India.
            They spoke a few lines about each state. It was a treat to watch the little champs. 

            Day 2

            On our 75th Independence Day, let us not forget the selfless acts of various freedom fighters who fought for our country and contributed in making India one of the largest democracies in the world. They fought hard for our country in many ways, and these heroes are remembered even today for their deeds.
            Show and tell activity was conducted in Class LKG. Students held the pictures of freedom fighters and spoke lines about them. These types of activities help instill the love for our country in young hearts.

            Day 3

            “Tiny hands with big dreams in their hearts, they are the future of our country.”
            Students of class I created beautiful craft items with a touch of patriotism to show their love for the country. They thoroughly enjoyed this activity. These types of activities help improve their fine motor skills and explore the creativity hidden inside them.

            Day 4

            "Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high, 
            Into that heaven of freedom, my father, let my country awake".
            All the students participated in the "Flag March"  to support "Har Ghar Tiranga " movement started by the Govt. Students proudly walked with a flag in their hands and heads held high. No doubt, this sight filled everyone with a feeling of patriotism. Every child was given a flag to hoist at their homes and salute it with pride.

              To celebrate 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' India's glorious 75th Independence Day, New Era Public School, Dwarka hosted a cyclothon for  cycling and fitness enthusiasts of the capital of India. Over 350 cyclists from various cyclist groups and school children were invited to participate in the 20-kilometre cyclothon from far and away areas of Delhi/Ncr. 
              The enthusiasm of cyclists was sky rocketing and extremely motivating and inspiring for all.

              The Cyclothon was flagged off at 6.30 am from Vegas mall dwarka and ended at the same point. Thereafter, continuing with the celebrations the students of New Era Public school presented a combination of extravagant music and dance performance and the hoisting of the National Flag to end the days proceedings.

                Raksha Bandhan Celebrations

                ”Raksha Bandhan is a festival that signifies the love, protection, loyalty, and care that  brothers and sisters share with one another.”
                No festival is complete unless we celebrate it with our loved ones. With Raksha Bandhan festival around the corner , children of primary wing conducted the assembly on the theme Raksha Bandhan. This festival is not only celebrated among the siblings, but also amongst friends and the close ones with whom the people want to spread their message of love and care.
