    Students of the LKG and UKG of New Era Public School, Dwarka were taken on a short and informative trip to the fire station of Sector 6, Dwarka, to make them understand the importance of community helpers in our lives. Our tiny tots were briefed by the fire officer on how to contact the fire authorities in case of an emergency by dialling 101.

      A morning assembly was conducted by the students of Class II.
      The theme for the assembly was 'The Joy Of Living Together'.
      Children enacted a story and shared motivational thoughts related to the theme.
      The Principal addressed the students, emphasising the significance to keep oneself and others happy.

        Kids require ample listening and speaking opportunities in order to effectively develop language skills. 
        A ‘Show and Tell ‘activity was conducted for the students of LKG. In this activity students are expected to talk about a variety of topics, organize their thoughts and convey main ideas.. 
        During the activity, the students spoke about different birds. The children were prepared with some uncommon birds like ostrich and vultures. 
        Show and tell sets the stage for children to become good speakers.They enjoyed the activity a lot.

          It was an honour to celebrate our Chairperson, Mrs. Usha Chopra's birthday.
          The celebrations commenced with a special prayer by the Principal followed by a beautiful happy b'day song by the students of the primary wing.
          It was a delight to see students of classes I & II dance with gay abandon. The highlight of the celebration was a powerpoint presentation that brought back many sweet memories of the Chairperson's journey associated with the school.

          With much love and enthusiasm, our Chairperson, Mrs. Usha Chopra's birthday was also celebrated with the whole staff at New Era Public School, Mayapuri.

            Hindi is not just a language, but an expression!
            Hindi Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm at New Era Public School, Dwarka. A competition including slogan writing, poem recitation and Nukkad Natak was organised in the school premises as a mark of acknowledgement of HINDI as the National Language. This competition was judged by an eminent journalist and a motivational speaker. This special occasion was graced by the respected Director and the Principal.

              New Era Public School, Dwarka hosted the Zone-21 Zonal Lawn Tennis Championship 2022-23 for the consecutive second year in a row from 8th September to 12th September 2022 at its school premises. More than 16 school's and their students participated in the 3 day long championship held for  various categories for both Girls and Boys. Living upto the reputation, the host school won three golds in Senior boys, Junior boys and girls category. It also won second and third position in sub junior category for boys and girls. The tournament was conducted successfully.

                Students of Class I created beautiful "Gratitude Cards" for the teachers on the occasion of Teacher's Day. Their hearts  were filled up with joy and pride as they handed out the cards to their teachers.

                  “A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instil a love of learning.”
                  Students of New Era Public school, Dwarka expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the teachers during a special assembly. The Head Girl said a special prayer for the teachers which was followed by a melodious song by the school choir. Students expressed their admiration and gratitude towards their mentors by reading out a special message for each teacher. The Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra addressed the gathering and lauded the efforts made by the Teachers and the Sports Coaches each day.

                    Thar Desert, also called as the Great Indian Desert, arid region of rolling sand hills on the Indian subcontinent.
                    Students of Class IV presented an amazing project presentation on the topic, "The Thar Desert"  to the Chairperson, Mrs. Usha Chopra and the Director, Rohit Chopra. They talked about the location, climate, food, vegetation, animals, dance, music, livelihood, festivals and attire, sang a melodious folk song and  concluded it with a mesmerising Kalbelia dance performance.

                      Every now and then, a man's mind is stretched by a new idea or sensation, and never shrinks back to its former dimensions.” 
                      As part of the experiential learning, students of Class V presented their project on the topic  “Human Evolution” to the Chairperson, Mrs. Usha Chopra and the Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra. Children researched and learned about the different stages in human evolution and presented the same through enactment, role play, and dance. This learning will stay with them forever.
