New Era Public School, Dwarka celebrated its Annual Day on 19th November 2022. The Chief Guest of the day was the Chairperson, Mrs. Usha Chopra.

The function began with lighting the auspicious lamp and seeking the Almighty's blessings. The cultural extravaganza began with a mesmerizing performance by the school orchestra. This was followed by the release of the annual school magazine, ‘Meraki’ by the Chairperson. The Chairperson also addressed the audience.

This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The meritorious students were felicitated for their outstanding performance in various fields ranging from academics to co-curricular activities. ‘Student of The Year’ awards were presented to the deserving students who were a cut above the others. Pride and joy were writ large on the shining faces as they stepped up to receive the mementos from the chief guests.

Next, the school choir expressed their profound feeling of love and devotion to the motherland through the melodious song, ‘Vande Mataram’.

It was followed by a presentation for the academic session 2022-23.

Ms. Vandana Chawla, Principal, New Era Public School. Mayapuri addressed the audience. This was followed by the address of the Director Mr. Rohit Chopra.

The young students of kindergarten and classes I and II invoked the blessings of Lord Ganesha, through a beautiful dance.

The ballet, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, The Missile Man of India, was a portrayal of his childhood, touching upon the vitally significant incidents in his youth that shaped little Abdul into the “Missile Man”, and penultimately into the people’s President

The function culminated with the vote of thanks presented by the Principal, Mrs. Kanwal Kohli. She thanked the parents for their presence and support of the school. She also extended her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
